Lose Weight and Keep It Off: The Turbo Workout -> Exercise and Lose Weight

Give yourself three minutes to work out. Get up and start exercising right now. Don't worry, I'll still be here in a few minutes. :)
If you want to lose weight, exercising little and often is the key, especially if you are out of shape.
Do some calisthenics. Jump 120 times in a minute and you'll have burned 10 calories. Do some jumping jacks for a minutes and you'll have burned about 8 calories. If you walk fast for a minute, you'll have burned 4 calories.
Obviously, jumping is your best bet. You don't even need a jumping rope. However, jumping can be pretty exhausting, so start your workout with some jumping jacks if you aren't that fit.
